Enjoy a true eco-cruise! Experience the atmosphere as the skillful captain navigates the ship amongst the rocks where thousands of fur seals play!
While cruising you will learn about the history, flora and fauna of the destination as special points of interest. And when getting closer to the place of your target, you may start to feel the sensation of going over the long swells. You will sail across the waters where you are drifting amongst thousands of seals. Listen to your cruise rangers and captain that will interpret what the seals are doing, with the different antics they get up to as they bask on the nearby land.
Cruisers will be within just a few meters of the seals all whilst in the comfort and safety of your boat. And when you spend from 20 to 30 minutes with the seals, you will commence a return trip.
Usually during the return trip, you may enjoy complimentary afternoon tea including tea or coffee, biscuits and cake, or purchase drink or two from the licensed bar. Sometimes the captain may offer to come up on the bridge of the cruiser on the return trip to visit the captain or sit back and watch one of the marine-life documentaries.
Places inhabited by the seals: Points East Coastal Drive, Prince Edward Island; Cape Cod; Kaikoura, New Zealand; North Iceland; Antarctica; Greenland and Norway.
