Ushuaia - Port at the End of the World
Ushuaia - Port at the End of the World
ushuaiaUshuaia, Argentina is dubbed the "End of the World", and it is well-deserved. The city is located at the southernmost tip of South America and is a tourism base for Tierra del Fuego, embarkation port for Antarctic and Falkland Islands cruises, and port of call for South America cruises between Buenos Aires and Valparaiso (Santiago) around Cape Horn.

Ushuaia is closer to the South Pole than to the northern border of Argentina and Bolivia, so the weather here is cool. Bear in mind that if you have a day in Ushuaia, it might be raining there. You can visit the Maritime Museum, the End of the World Museum, or do some souvenir shopping. If you are lucky and the weather is pleasant, take a day trip to ride on the End of the World Train and to see Tierra del Fuego National Park and the Beagle Channel.

But no matter what you decide to do in Ushuaia, remember that you had a trip to the End of the World!
